Agile Pathways in Education – A Blog Series

Application of Agile in the many paths of work in my career have been eventful, eye opening, insightful and deeply satisfying. At the same time is it not bereft of its challenges in getting a buy-in, adopting a new culture, a new way of thinking and being open to changes that are meaningful to say the least.

The ability to make a change that is driven by the organization, ability to be flexible when changes are a need and when working collaborative is a big need and a great plus, is what drove me in my business focused transformational journey with Agile. Now into a space where education and technology are so interlinked, I couldn’t stop but think about how Agility – whether in Execution/Operations or in Strategizing can change the landscape of education, that too the schools in India.

This series is an attempt to provide as much of a comprehensive view of how Agile techniques can transform various crucial functions in schools, linking management, lesson planning, and exams and help create an inclusive and effective educational ecosystem. The primary focus of this blog series is Indian Education system, but is generic in its treatment and applications.

Also, this is a bird’s eye view of Agile methodologies and implementation practices as we have seen them.
